In a time when democracy and civic rights are constantly challenged, fostering respectful and constructive dialogue has never been more crucial. The TBD-DCDS Civil Discourse Nationals 2025 stood as a powerful platform for young voices to engage, debate, and envision a future where democracy thrives through active participation and open conversation. Held on July 4–5 at Dhaka College, this prestigious tournament gathered 64 talented school and college-level teams, all competing in the Bangla Asian Parliamentary format. Their mission? To challenge ideas, defend values, and strengthen the principles that build a fair and free society.
This year’s Nationals focused on pressing issues shaping our collective future—fair elections, freedom of speech, justice, and institutional accountability. More than just a debate competition, it became a movement of thought, empathy, and action. Every argument raised, every perspective heard, contributed to a larger goal: empowering a new generation of citizens who believe in questioning, listening, and speaking with courage and clarity.
Bangladesh has recently witnessed a massive uprising for rights, justice, and democracy—a reminder of how vital these principles are to our nation’s soul. Civil Discourse Nationals 2025 connected these experiences to the energy of young minds, giving them a space to think critically and express boldly.
